Mind Matters Awareness Campaign (MMA Campaign)

Objective
To break down the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction, encouraging open conversations and greater understanding within the community

Key Activities

  • Awareness Weeks: Host designated weeks focused on topics like addiction recovery, trauma, depression, and self-awareness, including public talks, panels, and social media campaigns.
  • Real Stories Initiative: Share anonymous or volunteered testimonials from clients (with permission) that reflect recovery journeys, challenges, and victories.
  • Community Outreach Workshops: Organize free community sessions on mental health basics, understanding addiction, and trauma-informed care to demystify mental health care for all.

Implementation

  • Partner with local schools, workplaces, and community centers to hold workshops and Q&A sessions.
  • Use Epignosis’ social media platforms for daily posts, stories, and videos sharing valuable insights and client success stories.

Resilience Builder Workshops (RB Workshops)

Objective
To equip youth with life skills, coping mechanisms, and resilience-building techniques as a proactive approach to mental health.

Key Activities

  • Skill Development Sessions Sessions on problem-solving, emotional regulation, stress management, and leadership, are run by mentors and trained counselors.
  • Resilience Challenge: An online and offline initiative encouraging young people to complete weekly challenges that build self-discipline and emotional resilience, with a chance to share progress on social media.

Implementation

  • Partner with schools and youth organizations to provide interactive workshops and educational resources.
  • Develop a dedicated section on the Epignosis website with downloadable resilience toolkits, videos, and resilience challenge prompts

Objective
To support family members by equipping them with tools and insights to better understand addiction, mental health, and recovery.
